Are you ready to make an impact?

Ignite Louisville is an experience like no other for next generation leaders who are ready to take a bigger role in their careers and in positive community change. The six-month program brings emerging leaders from multiple sectors together to grow professionally and put into practice their leadership skills as they address critical needs for area nonprofits. In the last 15 years, the program has graduated over 950 leaders who have gone to do extraordinary things for their organizations. They have directly served over 125 nonprofits, with over 40,000 hours of volunteerism and over $2 million in cumulative value.

We asked some of our grads to tell us the top 3 reasons young, emerging professionals should go through the program.

1. The learning – Ignite Louisville participants will gain leadership skills that come only from being pushed outside of their comfort zone.

“My experience in Ignite was very rewarding, it allowed me the opportunity to learn and immediately practice leadership skills. I was challenged to think bigger picture and outside of my comfort zone.” – Luke Rebholz, Senior Project Manager, Messer Construction Co.

2. The networking – Over the course of the program, each person leaves with unforgettable experiences and relationships that pay dividends personally and professionally.

“I now have this amazing network of professional mentors and lifelong relationship with Ignite team. It would have taken years for me to attain this pool of invaluable connections, knowledge, resources and to uplift my professional career in the process. Ignite Leadership Program has made it all possible for me in six months.” – Nazifa Cassity, Finance Supervisor, LMRC Finance & Admin Services.

3. Making a difference in the community – Graduates show demonstrated ability to take on leadership challenges and serve the community.

“It was so rewarding to be part of a program that has such an impact on the community. I am inspired by how much all of the Ignite teams were able to accomplish for their non-profits in such a short period of time.” –  Virginia Mattingly, Consumer & Sales Insights Manager, Brown- Forman Corporation
